PORTRAITS

The lure of capturing an essence of character is immensely interesting and fulfilling to me.
Tho perhaps it is the teachings contained within the experience of spreading the layers of detail that is so intriguing.
Anyway, it’s fun drawing people.

COMIC ART

My first published work was penciling & inking a Tales of The Jedi story in 1993. A painted issue of Elfquest “Blood of Ten Chiefs” and various covers followed.
Here are some other projects including a few pieces for Poison Elves and a chapter from Jim Ottaviani’s Eisner-nominated “Fallout – The Political Science of the Atomic Bomb”.

Soon to be updated!

SKETCHBOOK

I’ve been keeping a progression of sketchbooks since 1984 – these are a few of my favourite images & pages from throughout the years.

ORIGINAL ART

Work done for the sheer pleasure of it.
This is where I allow the piece to guide the way.
Sometimes watching paint dry is rather enjoyable..

WINDOWS AND MURALS

In 1983 I started window painting at Buccaneer Days in Esquimalt. (Keith Richards as a pirate – fancy that!)
Since then it has mainly been something I do for the Christmas season, tho maybe I’ll have to see about painting some more pirates somewhere….hmm.

Murals to appear here at a later date!
